Study on strata behavior law of weak cohesive roof in deep buried fully mechanized top coal caving face

In view of the severe ground pressure behavior and spontaneous combustion risk goaf in fully mechanized top coal caving face with deep buried weak cohesive roof thick seam prone to combustion, combined theoretical analysis mining overburden structure field engineering practice, structural characteristics rock strata law are studied. The results show that: stope also has phenomenon surface step subsidence. Compared shallow seam, subsidence is relatively slow, adhesion leads short periodic weighting distance stope, average 9.9m. measured peak value advance abutment 7~10.5m front wall. According mine control fire prevention demand goaf, reasonable advancing speed 4~5m/d.
